Musician

My mother was a music teacher, so I started to learn piano when I was four years old. In high school and college I played the flute and the oboe. As an adult I learned to play bass guitar. I played for many years at church, and now I play with the Deep Fried Tweeters.

Bass Player

On the weekends I play bass guitar in a band called the Deep Fried Tweeters. We play in small towns west of the Twin Cities, like Howard Lake, Waverly, and Annandale.

While I mostly sing backups, I sing the lead part in a few songs, as shown in this video.

Howard Lake Legion

In this video we are playing at my favorite venue, the Howard Lake Legion. The band leaders grew up in this town, so we always get a huge crowd.

Street Dances

In the summer most of our gigs are on the back of flat bed trailers. Our band leaders have the right equipment for playing outdoors.

In this video I am singing the Macarena. Forgive my spanish.
